Chicago's first album rates as one of the greatest in rock history. An artist no less than Jimi Hendrix, having heard their lead guitarist play, stated he was better than Jimi. Very different from the later middle-of-the-road version of Chicago, these boys were hungry, gritty, and had something to prove--that a horn section could be at the heart of a serious rock band. With songs like "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is", "Beginnings", "Introduction", "Questions 67 and 68" and a great cover of "I'm A Man", they proved it. This SHM-CD remaster has a fantastic sound--I can't wait until they do "Chicago II" in August of 2009.
