A six string electric and acoustic bassist, musically referred to as Nashid. Nashid Abdul Khaaliq attended the Berklee School of Music and has a solid background in straight ahead jazz. However, his love for music has landed him here with No Strings Attached. Passionate about music and his love for rhythm and blues, Nashid & the talented Producer Ellis Phelps has combined these styles into this unique non-traditional project.During the course of his career, Nashid has recorded many songs in the rhythm and blues and jazz genre. He has played with the renown saxophonist "Najee" and the renown guitarist "Mark Whitfield" and the list goes on.
